MESSAGE NOTES

A teaching becomes foundation when it becomes practice.

Yeshua closes the Sermon on the Mount with two builders who both hear. The difference is not exposure to truth, admiration for truth, or vocabulary about truth; it is the difficult, repeated work of doing what he says.

Obedience is not a performance that earns security. It is the settled response of trust that turns mercy, integrity, prayer, reconciliation, and love of enemies into the structure of a life.

“Whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them.” Matthew 7:24

Three practices for the week

  1. Choose one clear saying of Yeshua. Read it in context and translate it into one action small enough to begin today.
  2. Remove a predictable obstacle. Prepare for the moment when hurry, pride, fear, or convenience will resist the action.
  3. Review the fruit honestly. Ask whether the practice is producing love, truthfulness, courage, mercy, and deeper dependence on Yehovah.
